HOW WE TACKLED THE BRIEF GIVEN TO US
Brief
Logo design for music brand LitLoops that sell short, organically recorded sounds and energetic rhythmic loops for music producers and songwriters. These sounds are made to inspire and fuel their musical creativity (genres are mainly in modern pop, r&b, funk, and rock styles).
Target market is 90% male ages 20-35, worldwide location (internet), educated in music recording/production with computer software skills (ProTools, Garage Band, Logic, Ableton Live), and in most cases knows how to play an instrument.
Deliverables
Client get the brand identity an animated, colorful, fun, casual, cartoon-ish feel, while still maintaining a clean & simple look. For the “Lit Loops” lettering/font, used clean, rounded lettering… so that can see what it is even if its a small icon. The users are young tech-savy musicians, creative types with a sense of humor.
